The Canine Consultants specializes in dog training, and high quality pet foods and supplies. Established in 1989, The Canine Consultants has served Lincoln’s pet community for over 30 years. Owner and head trainer Trevor Bassen has trained thousands of dogs and their owners, with over 80,000 lessons taught. Using his 37 years of experience training with animals, Trevor works with any dog, of any breed, of any age. Trevor earned his Master Trainer’s Certificate from the Colorado Dog Academy in 1986. Starting as an apprentice in 1985 and working up to Master Trainer, Trevor then taught lessons at The Colorado Dog Academy for the next few years prior to returning to Nebraska to attend the University. While attending the College of Business at UNL, it became a clear choice for Trevor to combine his love of pets and business and start The Canine Consultants in 1989.
